Samsung has launched its Galaxy Book 6 series laptops in India, bringing its latest premium notebook lineup to the country over a month after its global debut. The series includes three models – the Galaxy Book 6 Ultra, Galaxy Book 6 Pro, and the standard Galaxy Book 6 – all powered by Intel's latest Panther Lake processors.
The new laptops will be available through Samsung's official online store as well as authorised offline retail outlets across India.
Price And Availability In India
The flagship Galaxy Book 6 Ultra starts at Rs. 2,42,990 for the variant powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 3 processor. The Galaxy Book 6 Pro (14-inch) is priced at Rs. 1,78,990 for the base configuration with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.
Meanwhile, the standard Galaxy Book 6 (14-inch) starts at Rs. 1,27,990 for a similar configuration. The Ultra and Pro models are available in a single Gray color, while the standard model comes in Gray and Silver options.
Samsung is also offering additional benefits, including up to 24 months of no-cost EMI, cashback offers of up to Rs. 5,000, and student discounts of up to 10 per cent.
Galaxy Book 6 Ultra: Flagship Performance
The Galaxy Book 6 Ultra runs on Windows 11 Home and features a 16-inch WQXGA+ AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 2,880 × 1,800 pixels. The display supports up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness and includes an anti-reflective coating for improved visibility.
Under the hood, the laptop is powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra X7 Series 3 Evo Edition processor, paired with an Intel NPU capable of up to 50 TOPS and an Nvidia GeForce 5070 GPU for high-end performance.
It offers up to 32GB LPDDR5x RAM and a 1TB PCIe SSD for storage. Additional features include a 2MP Full-HD webcam, a backlit keyboard, and a haptic touchpad.
The device is backed by an 80.20Wh battery with 140W fast charging. Connectivity options include two Thunderbolt 4 ports, USB Type-A, HDMI 2.1, MicroSD slot, and an audio jack. The laptop weighs approximately 1.89kg.
Galaxy Book 6 Pro: Balanced Performance And Portability
The Galaxy Book 6 Pro shares many features with the Ultra model, including Windows 11, AMOLED display, and Intel's latest processors. It is powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra X7 Series 3 processor with Intel Arc integrated graphics.
The Pro model also includes up to 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD, along with similar ports, webcam, and input features as the Ultra.
Battery capacity differs by size, with the 16-inch model offering 78.07Wh and the 14-inch model featuring 67.18Wh. The laptops are lighter than the Ultra, weighing approximately 1.59kg for the 16-inch version and 1.24kg for the 14-inch variant.
Galaxy Book 6: Standard Model With Flexible Options
The Galaxy Book 6 serves as the more affordable option in the lineup while retaining many core features such as Windows 11, a backlit keyboard, and connectivity options.
It is available in multiple display configurations, including 16-inch touchscreen, 16-inch non-touch, and 14-inch non-touch variants. The top-end model features a 16-inch WUXGA IPS touchscreen with up to 350 nits of brightness.
The laptop is powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 3 processor with an integrated GPU and an NPU offering up to 49 TOPS. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4.
