Lava will soon launch a device with a curved display in India. The company has been gaining popularity in the budget segment with its Storm, Blaze, Agni, and Yuva Series. Sunil Raina, President of Lava Mobiles, has now shared a teaser for the launch of the Lava Blaze Curve 5G in the Indian market.

He made a post on Twitter with an encoded message. If we rearrange the alphabets in EALGVUZ5CBER, we get Blaze Curve 5G. It will be the second device from the company to feature a curved display, after the Lava Agni 2. He did not reveal any further details about the phone. Given the curved nature of the display, the device will have an OLED panel.

Lava recently launched the Blaze 2 5G in India as an affordable 5G device at Rs 9999. It comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset along with a 50MP primary camera. The device is available in 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB storage variants.

We can expect the Blaze Curve 5G to be a mid-range offering from Lava, as most of their devices are priced below Rs 20,000. Given the company’s focus on affordable 5G devices, the introduction of a curved display in the segment will add a premium touch to their phones.

To recall, the Realme 11 Pro was one of the first devices in India to feature a curved display under Rs 25,000. The Blaze Curve 5G is expected at a much lower price, bringing down the price entry barrier of curved display devices for Indian customers.

According to a report from Techarch, Lava is quickly becoming a popular brand amongst youth in India with its Agni, Yuva, Blaze, and Storm Series. The company has one of the highest customer satisfaction with its youth-centric design and specifications. Over 82% of existing Lava customers voted that they will upgrade their next smartphone from the same brand.
