LG Gram Fold launched as the first mainstream foldable laptop from the South Korean brand. The new launch comes after its competitor HP launched the Spectre Foldable PC earlier this month. However, compared to the last-generation processors on the HP Spectre Foldable, the LG Gram Fold comes with the latest 13 gen Intel Core processor. In fact, the LG Gram Fold is the first foldable laptop to come with the latest Intel Core processor. Let’s take a look at the LG Gram Fold price, availability, and specifications.

LG Gram Fold Price and Availability

LG has launched the Gram Fold in South Korea and has not revealed any plans to launch it globally. Moreover, the new LG foldable laptop will only be released in limited quantity in its home market. The laptop has been priced at 4.99 million won (~Rs 3,07,240). However, the first 200 customers will be able to pick it up for 3.99 million won (~Rs 2,45,700).

LG has announced that the Gram Fold will be available in Korea starting September 25 at 20 LG Electronics Best Shops in South Korea. The online sale of the new foldable laptop will begin on October 4 through the official Korean LG online brand shop. Buyers will get goodies like a Bluetooth mouse, stylus, Gram Office Value Pack, and an annual MS Office 365 subscription with the LG Gram Fold.

The LG Gram Fold comes with a massive 17-inch QXGA+ (2,560 x 1,920) foldable OLED touch display. The screen offers a 4:3 aspect ratio when unfolded and supports a 99.5% DCI-P3 Colour Gamut. When folded, the LG Gram Fold converts into a 12-inch tablet with 1,920 x 1,280 resolution and a 3:2 aspect ratio. LG says that when folded, the bottom half of the Gram Fold shows a virtual keyboard but users can also place a Bluetooth keyboard on the bottom half for a conventional typing experience.

The LG Gram Fold can be used as a laptop, tablet, and eBook reader. It also comes with support for touch pen input for creators. LG claims that the hinge of the Gram Fold has passed a folding test where it was folded and opened up to 30,000 times. This figure translates to unfolding the laptop up to 20 times daily for four years.

The LG Gram Fold is the first foldable laptop to feature a 13th-generation Intel Core processor. It’s powered by a 13th-generation Intel Core i5-1335U with 10 cores and Iris XE GPU. The chipset is further mated to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 512GB SSD. The laptop boots Windows 11 Home (64-bit) out of the box and supports the Windows Hello facial recognition feature through the HD webcam. It’s powered by a 72Wh battery.

Coming to the connectivity options, the LG Gram Fold features two USB 4.0 Gen 3 Type-C ports, Bluetooth 5.1, and Wi-Fi 6E. The laptop is also equipped with Dolby Atmos-tuned stereo speakers.
