Samsung Galaxy M34 5G Expected Specifications and Features
Design
Samsung Galaxy M34 5G follows the same design language followed by other recent Samsung phones; Samsung calls it the ‘Samsung Signature Design’.
It got the same camera ring design we saw in the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy A54, Galaxy M54 and more. But the build is less special than the other A series and S series phones, as Galaxy M34 5G is expected to come with a plastic back and plastic frame. Samsung has confirmed that the phone will come in 3 colours: Prism Silver, Midnight Blue and Waterfall Blue.
AMOLED Display
Samsung Galaxy M32 5G comes with a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of Full HD+ and a refresh rate of 120Hz. As confirmed by Samsung, the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Even though it’s a 120Hz AMOLED panel, it doesn’t have a punch hole for the camera; it still has a notch or Infinity U display, as Samsung calls it.
50MP Camera With OIS
Samsung has confirmed that Galaxy M34 5G will feature a “50MP No Shake Cam, ” meaning it will come with OIS support.
The leaks have pointed at a 50MP primary camera with OIS for the primary camera, 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP depth or macro sensor. To the front, the phone is said to come with a 12MP selfie shooter.
Samsung has advertised “Monster Shot 2.0” for the Galaxy M34 5G camera, which lets you take multiple shots in a single take, from which you can take the best shot later on. Samsung has also teased features like “Fun mode” and “Nightography” for cameras.
Powered by Exynos 1280
Samsung has confirmed that Exynos 1280 SoC will power Galaxy M34 5G. It isn’t a new chipset; this is the same one featured in Galaxy M33 5G, Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A33 5G. It is a decent 5G chipset comparable to Snapdragon 695 SoC, the only complaint here is that Samsung didn’t update the chipset when going from Galaxy M33 5G to Galaxy M34 5G. It is fabricated on Samsung’s 5nm FinFET process. The phone has two variants: 6 GB + 128 GB and 8 GB + 128 GB.
6,000 mAh battery
Samsung Galaxy M34 5G will come with a 6,000mAh battery, the usual Monster battery life expected from Samsung phones. Leaks have pointed out that the phone will come with 25W fast charging support, but we’re not sure if the device will come with a charger in the box.
Samsung Wallet
Samsung Galaxy M34 will come with the Samsung Wallet feature, which is the old Samsung Pay rebranded. Samsung Wallet lets you save your device’s essential documents, COVID-19 vaccine records, and Digilocker. And, of course, you can make payments to any offline outlets with NFC and it also UPI payments.
4 Year Android OS Updates
Samsung has confirmed that Galaxy M34 5G will come with four years of OS updates and five years of security updates. Among the midrange smartphones, only Samsung provides this, while other phones go for 1 or 2 years of Android updates. Samsung hasn’t confirmed which OneUI version it will come with; we can expect OneUI 5.1 based on Android 13 out of the box.
