MX2 Games, one of the leading e-tailers for buying gaming devices and accessories, has revealed the launch date, price and other details about the ROG Ally. Let’s take a look at the ASUS ROG Ally price in India, specifications and other details.
ASUS ROG Ally Price in India, Launch Date Tipped
The new ASUS ROG Ally is likely to launch in less than a month’s time in India. A new listing claims that the handheld gaming device will launch on June 13 in India. As per the listing, the ROG Ally with the AMD Z1 processor will have a launch price of Rs 71,999. The ROG Ally with AMD Z1 Extreme processor will launch for Rs 79,999, according to the listing.
The listing does not reveal the sale/ release date of the Z1 variant. However, we can assume that ASUS will launch the Z1 variant alongside the Extreme variant in India. The MX2 Games listing of the ROG Ally with the Z1 Extreme processor reveals that the handheld gaming device will launch on June 13.
At the time of writing this, we cannot confirm if the listing is of an imported unit. Therefore, we would advise waiting for some official details before adding the devices to your shopping cart.
The ROG Ally Z1 was launched for $599 (roughly Rs 49,200). The Z1 Extreme variant, on the other hand, was launched for $699 (roughly Rs 57,400). After comparing the international price with the listed price in India, it seems like customers here will have to pay a premium for the ASUS handheld gaming device.
As stated earlier, since there is no official word from the brand about the launch or the price of the ROG Ally, we advise taking the listing with a pinch of salt.
The main difference between the two variants of the ROG Ally is the processor. Both variants come with AMD Radeon Navi3 Graphics, 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD.
The ROG Ally also has a 7-inch IPS display with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a 16:9 aspect ratio. It offers support for a 120Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of peak brightness. The gaming device has buttons on either side of the screen. It boots Windows 11 and comes with three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription in international markets.
