The BlackBerry KEY2, which was launched by the company last year, has been on the market for over seven months now. Since it is now starting to feel quite dated when compared to other smartphones available in the same price range, BlackBerry is planning to introduce a new color option for the KEY2 in Europe very soon.
BlackBerry KEY2 Red Color Variant Will Soon be Available in Europe
The BlackBerry KEY2 Red color variant is expected to look very similar to the “Atomic” Red color variant of the KEY2 LE. Currently, the KEY2 comes only in Black and Silver color options. While it remains to be seen if the new Red color variant can help boost sales of the smartphone in Europe, it is certainly great news for consumers who still admire the BlackBerry brand and are thinking of getting a KEY2 soon. Even though the KEY2 may not be the most attractive smartphone around, the Red color variant will certainly make it look more desirable than the existing Black and Silver color variants. There is a chance that the Red color variant of the KEY2 will be offered in at least a few other markets after its launch in Europe, although we cannot confirm the same at this point.
