Close on the heels of design leaks of the Samsung Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Ultra, we now have an exclusive first look at the Galaxy S21 Plus. The leaked RAW CAD render – obtained from our source who wished to remain anonymous – showcases a design that is very similar to vanilla S21 and the Ultra.
Interestingly, there are strong rumours stating that Samsung is moving up the launch of the Galaxy S21 series to January next year. So, you won’t have to wait long to see the live images of the phone. Anyway, let’s take a gander at the design.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus: Design specs
First things first, the only spec details we have for now are the Galaxy S21 Plus’ dimensions and display size. It measures 161.5×75.6×7.85mm and has a flat 6.7-inch display with a punch hole camera bang in the center, as expected. By the way, Samsung calls it the Infinity-O display for what it is worth.
When compared to the dimensions of Galaxy S20 Plus – which has dimensions of 161.9×73.7×7.8mm – the Galaxy S21 Plus is rumoured to be slightly shorter, wider, and thicker compared to its predecessor. Here’s why it is shorter and wider, the display is now a flat one and has absolutely no curves.
Although, the display sizes are exactly the same at 6.7-inch. But, the Galaxy S21 Plus’ flat panel could have a bezel that is of equal size from all the sides as noted by Ice Universe.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus: Industrial design
Coming to the design as rendered by our source, the phone has the same redesigned camera module we first saw on the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Ultra renders. The camera module now blends into the frame — perhaps made of metal because there is a design highlight showcasing inserts on all the edges (possibly plastic for cellular connectivity) — on the top left corner. It doesn’t stick out like a separate part on the Galaxy S20 Plus. Peering closely, you can spot three cameras; exact specifications of which are still unknown. Sitting outside the camera module is an LED flash cutout.
Moving to the right edge of the Galaxy S21 Plus, we noticed a power button and the volume rocker. Whereas the left edge is bare with no ports or holes. The SIM card tray is on the top along with a couple of holes, one possibly for a microphone. At the bottom, you get a Type-C port, a microphone, and a speaker grille. This grille should ideally work with the earpiece in a stereo speaker setup.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus: Availability and other details
Like we mentioned in the beginning, the Galaxy S21 Plus, along with the S21 and the S21 Ultra, is rumoured to launch in January 2021. Also, an earlier leak revealed that the S21 Plus has a 4,660mAh. The phone is rumoured to support 25W fast charging and include Snapdragon 875 SoC, in markets other than India.
