Original story follows…
Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is allegedly in the works to launch a brand new smartphone dubbed the Honor Play 9A. So far, the details surrounding the Honor Play 9A were pretty scarce. Well, it was only until we could find out some crucial information about the device. Today, we were able to spot two Honor model numbers (MED-AL20 and MOA-AL20) on the Chinese TENAA certification website, which has revealed a bunch of its key specifications. The reason why we have speculated the two model numbers to be the same device is the similar set of specifications both model numbers possess, hence the “its” in our previous sentence. Though the TENAA certification does not explicitly mention the moniker of the device, the word has it that the MED-AL20 and MOA-AL20 model numbers belong to the upcoming Honor Play 9A smartphone. Take a look at the specifications the TENAA certification for the alleged Honor Play 9A has in store.
Honor Play 9A: Everything We Know So Far
As seen in the TENAA certification images, the Honor Play 9A will feature a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display. The listing fails to mention the type of display the Honor Play 9A will sport, so we cannot really say for sure as to what is to be expected. However, we can expect the Honor Play 9A to sport a waterdrop notch. The device will measure 159.07×74.06×9.04(mm) and will run on Android, which does not come as a surprise to anyone. The interesting thing will be to see whether or not the Honor Play 9A ships with Google Play Services, the chances of which are a bit unlikely.
Coming to the battery of the device, the Honor Play 9A will feature a large 4,900mAh battery, which will charge with 10W of charging speed as confirmed by the 3C certification website the device was spotted on a little while ago. Below is the 3C certification image for your reference:
