OnePlus 12 and 11 smartphones are receiving AI features through the latest software update. The new ColorOS update version PHB110_14.0.0.403(CN01) is rolling out to users in China already. Notably, while Google has been marketing AI features on Pixel smartphones for a while, it gained momentum only after the launch of the Galaxy S24 series with Galaxy AI onboard.
OnePlus is the latest brand to hop on board the AI features on the mobile bandwagon. Currently, these features are available only in China, but we can expect them to roll out globally soon.

Popular Android analyst Mishaal Rahman posted on X detailing the latest ColorOS update and AI features rolling out after spotting users talking about it on Reddit and the OnePlus forum. Notably, after the merger of OnePlus and OPPO in 2021, OnePlus devices boot the ColorOS operating system based on Android in China. The latest ColorOS update is based on Android 14 and is 316.6MB in size. It’s currently rolling out in China but we can expect the AI features to roll out worldwide in the coming days.
AI Summariser is the headlining feature that can generate call summaries including time, place, action, and other crucial information from phone calls. Then there is the AIGC Remove, which is similar to Magic Eraser on Pixel phones and Object Remover on Galaxy Flagships. This feature helps users to remove unwanted objects or people from the photos.
The update also brings Article Summaries, which can generate key information from web pages in just one tap. Lastly, there’s an upgraded Breeno Touch, which can recognise the content on display and offer quick access to relevant services.
