OnePlus has had a great year so far with the launch of phones like the OnePlus 11, OnePlus 11R and OnePlus Nord 3 series phones. More recently, the company also unveiled its first-ever foldable device, the OnePlus Open. Also, outside of India, the company launched the OnePlus Nord N30 device back in June 2023 as one of the most affordable 5G phones in the North American markets.
Now, towards the end of the year, it looks like OnePlus is looking to launch yet another affordable 5G phone in the Nord N series and the moniker of the same has been confirmed via a new certification site. OnePlus’s upcoming affordable phone in the Nord N lineup will be called the OnePlus Nord N30 SE and details of the same have been now spotted on the TDRA certification website. Kn addition, the device has been spotted on TUV Rheinland database revealing the battery capacity and fast charging speed of the device. Let’s take a look at all the details we know so far.
OnePlus Nord N30 SE Moniker, Battery Capacity, and Fast Charging Details
On the OnePlus Nord N30 SE TDRA certification website, the upcoming OnePlus phone has been listed with the CPH2605 model number. And, the same site also confirms that the phone’s moniker as the “OnePlus Nord N30 SE”. This will be the second device in the series as the company has already launched the OnePlus Nord N30 5G device in the US and Canadian markets. Barring these two key pieces of info, the website does not reveal much information, but it does mention the manufacturer as “OnePlus Technology (shenzhen) Co., Ltd.
Further, the phone was also spotted on the TUV Rheinland certification site revealing the battery and fast charging details. The Nord N30 SE 5G is tipped to feature a 4880mAh battery and in terms of fast charging, it will come with 33W fast charging as per the website.
In terms of specs, we do not know anything about the device so far. Having said that, we can expect more details about the phone to spill over the next few weeks as the phone is expected to appear on multiple other sites and certification platforms shortly. As of now, we know that the device will be a 5G handset. Since the Nord N30 is already available in some markets, this upcoming device could be a water down version of the same and is expected to be priced cheaper than the OnePlus Nord N30 5G.
For context, the OnePlus Nord N30 5G is priced at $299.99 in the US and some of the key specs include a Full HD+ 6.72-inch screen, 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 695 processor, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The handset features a 108MP primary camera, a pair of 2MP depth and macro camera units, a 16MP selfie camera, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 5,000mAh battery which supports 50W wired fast charging.
Lastly, it is also worth mentioning that OnePlus has never launched a Nord N series phone in India and so, this phone might not make its way to the Indian shores as well.
