  • OnePlus and Reliance-owned JioMart Digital have joined hands for offline distribution of OnePlus smartphones.
  • This move comes shortly after the conflicts between OnePlus and leading offline mobile retailers in the country.

OnePlus has strengthened its partnership with JioMart to improve the offline availability of OnePlus products across India. Previously, these items were available for delivery on the JioMart app and website. Under the new agreement, OnePlus products will now be sold across thousands of JioMart Digital stores in India.

OnePlus Partners with JioMart For Offline Availability

OnePlus is currently facing a huge crisis for its offline presence in India. Last month, the All India Mobile Retailers Association (AIMRA) announced they would stop selling OnePlus phones and other products in their offline stores due to low profit margins, and several unresolved issues with OnePlus. This strike was said to come into effect from May 1, 2024.

Although OnePlus has not officially commented on its issues with the AIMRA, the company has now announced that they are improving its partnership with JioMart for offline sales. OnePlus phones, TWS earbuds, and other products will now be available at JioMart Digital, a subsidiary of the Reliance Retail chain. Customers will also be able to experience OnePlus smartphones physically at these JioMart Digital Stores, before making the purchase.

OnePlus has also announced plans to expand its offline penetration in tier 3 and tier 4 cities across India. The company says its partnership with JioMart Digital will help it achieve this goal. However, OnePlus has not revealed any new plans to open its exclusive offline stores in the country.

The new OnePlus partnership with JioMart Digital does not affect their online sales distribution. The company will continue to sell its phones and other products on Amazon.in and OnePlus.in. Amazon has been the top marketplace for OnePlus in India.
