POCO is gearing up to unveil its X6 series smartphones. It will succeed the X5 series, which was launched earlier this year. The upcoming X6 lineup is expected to include two devices, the standard X6 and X6 Pro. Recently, the vanilla version appeared on the BIS and IMDA certification websites. Today, we spotted the X6 5G on TDRA and NBTC certification websites with the 23122PCD1G model number.

Unfortunately, neither of these certifications reveals any specifications of the device. However, the NBTC certification website confirms the moniker of the device and indicates an imminent launch.

Recently, a tipster named Kacper Skrzypek, known for providing reliable insights into Xiaomi and POCO developments, has revealed that the POCO X6 5G is set to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G from China. Supporting this revelation, Kacper shared a screenshot from the MIUI code, displaying the moniker and model number of the upcoming POCO handset.

However, the POCO X6 5G is expected to exhibit some distinctions compared to the Redmi Note 13 Pro. For those not acquainted with this practice, POCO has historically launched Redmi Note series handsets under the X series, incorporating unique designs and a few alterations under the hood. Let’s briefly revisit the specifications and features of the Chinese variant of the Redmi Note 13 Pro.
