Realme 12 Pro series will be the successor to Realme 11 Pro 5G and 11 Pro+ 5G smartphones, which were launched in India in June 2023. Tipster DCS (Digital Char Station) shared on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo that the 12 Pro+ could be a mid-range smartphone.

Realme 12 Pro series could be launched at a price of RMB 2,099 (approx. Rs 25,000) in China, according to tipster DCS (Digital Chat Station). The price is for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration. The Indian pricing could vary slightly.

To recall, Realme 11 Pro 5G was announced starting at Rs 23,999 for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The base model of Realme 11 Pro+ 5G with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage was launched at Rs 27,999. The Realme 12 Pro lineup is expected to be priced similarly when it is launched in India.

Realme 12 Pro, 12 Pro+ Specifications (Leaked)

As per DCS, the Realme 12 Pro+ could sport a rectangular periscope camera lens at the back, similar to the OPPO Find X6 smartphone, which was launched in China in March 2023.

The rear camera setup on the Realme 12 Pro+ is tipped to include a 64MP OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The 12 Pro model could get a 32MP Sony IMX 709 telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom as one of the back cameras.

A concept render of the Realme 12 Pro series shared by DCS reveals a rear camera module similar to the one on the Realme 11 Pro series. If the rumour turns out to be true, then the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC could be an upgrade over the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC, which has been used for the Realme 11 Pro lineup. The Dimensity 7050 SoC is also a mid-range SoC, which is built on a 6nm process. It is an octa-core processor and features four Cortex-A78 cores at up to 2.6 GHz, in addition to four Cortex-A55 cores at up to 2GHz. It also integrates an ARM Mali-G68 MC4 GPU.
