Last month, a mysterious Realme smartphone with model number RMX3851 made an appearance on the Geekbench benchmark database. Now, we have spotted the RMX3851 on the Indonesia Telecom website which reveals the moniker of the device, which is the Realme GT 6.
Realme GT 6 Moniker Confirmed
The Realme GT 6 Indonesia Telecom listing doesn’t reveal anything about the handset except the moniker. However, the smartphone has already visited the Geekbench benchmark database, which revealed the presence of 16GB of RAM.
To recall, Realme GT 6 scored 1,512 and 3,700 points in the single-core and multi-core rounds, respectively, of the Geekbench benchmark test. As per the test, the smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, which consists of a prime core (at 3.01GHz), three performance cores (clocked at 2.61GHz), four efficiency cores (at 1.84GHz), and an Adreno 735 GPU.
The Realme GT 6 will ship with Android 14 but as usual, we can expect it to have Realme UI 5.0 skin on top. The Realme GT 6 has already acquired Bureau of Indian Standard (BIS) certification, so we can expect it to launch in the Indian market as well. As per a Camera FV-5 listing, the smartphone might feature a 50MP primary camera.
The last GT series smartphone to make it to global markets was the Realme GT 3, which was announced at MWC in 2023. Recently Realme CEO Francis Wong confirmed that the Realme GT series will make a comeback in the global market in 2024. In related news, Realme is gearing up to launch the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3-powered Realme GT Neo 6 SE in the Chinese market.
