Mystery Realme Smartphone With a Snapdragon 8-Series SoC Spotted on Geekbench

A new Realme smartphone with model number RMX3851 has been spotted on the Geekbench benchmark database by folks at 91mobiles. The upcoming Realme RMX3851 scored 1,512 points in the single-core round of the benchmark test. Whereas, in the multi-core round, it recorded a score of 3,799 points.

Realme RMX3851 Geekbench listing reveals the presence of an octa-core processor with the codename Pineapple. As per the listing, the Realme RMX3851’s SoC will sport a prime core, clocked at 3.01GHz. It will also be equipped with three performance cores, each clocked at 2.61GHz, and four efficiency cores, each at 1.84GHz frequency.

This suggests that the Realme RMX3851 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC which is yet to be announced. It is also suggested that the device will be equipped with an Adreno 735 GPU.

The marketing name for this processor is unknown but the report suggests that it could be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Lite or Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. It is also revealed that this unknown Realme phone will come with the latest Android 14, possibly with Realme UI 5.0 on top.

The upcoming Realme smartphone will be equipped with 16GB of RAM. We can expect the company to launch the device in other memory configuration options as well. Other details are still behind the curtains and we will have to wait for more information to see what Realme has in store for us.

Meanwhile, Realme is preparing to launch the Realme 12+ 5G in Malaysia this month and could soon arrive in India too. The device’s specifications have also been leaked via an e-commerce site listing.
