Redmi is all set to introduce its budget segment offering – the Redmi A3 on February 14 in the Indian market. Ahead of the launch, it is now confirmed that the Redmi A3 will be available via Flipkart as a microsite on Flipkart has now gone live.
The phone will also be sold via the company’s website and partner retail stores. Proper details regarding this will be announced at the time of the launch.
As for the other details, Xiaomi has already confirmed that the upcoming Redmi A3 will sport a 90Hz display. It should be an LCD panel with an HD+ resolution since the Redmi A-series is aimed at budget segment buyers.
The phone will sport an all-new Halo design and will be equipped with a dual-rear camera setup enclosed inside a huge circular camera module. The Redmi A3 is confirmed to have a 5,000mAh battery unit and will pack a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfers.
The Redmi A3 will sport up to 6GB of RAM under the hood. However, to make the smartphone more affordable, the company might launch it with lesser RAM capacity as well. Xiaomi has also confirmed support for 6GB of virtual RAM.
