Redmi Note 11S Listed on NBTC, BIS and EEC Certification Websites, Model Number Revealed

The Indian variant of the handset has also acquired BIS certification.

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 11 lineup back in October in the Chinese market. The Redmi Note 11 series consists of three devices – Redmi Note 11, Note 11 Pro, and Note 11 Pro+. Now, it looks like the company is planning to add another model to the Redmi Note 11 lineup. Earlier this morning, we spotted Redmi Note 11S variants on NBTC, BIS, and EEC certification websites. These listings hint towards an imminent launch. Let us take a closer look at the details:

The Note 11S with model number 2201117SG has acquired NBTC certification. In addition to NBTC certification, the Indian variant of the Note 11s with model number 2201117SI has also cleared BIS certification.

Other variants of the handset with model numbers 2201117TG, 2201117TY, and 2201117SY have also cleared EEC certification.

As far as the specifications are concerned, these listings do not reveal anything. For that, we should probably wait for the handset to appear on other certification websites. Just last week, the global variant of the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ was spotted on the FCC certification website. The company might launch the Redmi Note 11 series, including the 11s and 11 Pro+, together at a global event. To recall, the company had launched the Redmi Note 10, Note 10 5G, Note 10S, and Note 10 Pro for global markets back in March.
