Samsung Galaxy A54 Tipped to Come With a 50MP Camera Setup

The Samsung Galaxy A53 features a 64MP primary camera.


Samsung, earlier this year, launched the Samsung Galaxy A53 smartphone. The company usually follows a yearly launch cycle for the A-series device and as a result, the Korean tech giant is expected to launch the Samsung Galaxy A54 in early 2023. We are still a few months away from the launch, but the leaks surrounding the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A54 have started popping up on the web.

Now, a new report by GalaxyClub, which has good record when it comes to Samsung-related leaks, reveals that the Samsung Galaxy A54 will see a camera downgrade, at least in terms of the resolution. To those unaware, Samsung used 64MP primary rear shooters on the Samsung Galaxy A52, Galaxy A52 5G, Galaxy A52s 5G, and Galaxy A53 5G. However, seems like the company is all set to replace the 64MP camera sensor with a 50MP camera on the upcoming Galaxy A54.

GalaxyClub says that the exact details about this 50MP camera sensor are not known so it is not clear which 50MP sensor we are going to see on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A54. The report further suggests that the Samsung Galaxy A54 has model number SM-A546B and is currently under the testing phase. It is also being speculated that the upcoming Galaxy A54 will be powered by an Exynos processor, similar to its predecessor. To those unaware, the Samsung Galaxy A53 is powered by Exynos 1280 processor.

Samsung Galaxy A14 5G, A34 5G Being Tested in Europe

Alongside the upcoming Galaxy A54, the Korean Tech giant is also said to be testing the Samsung Galaxy A34 5G And Galaxy A14 5G with model numbers SM-A346B and SM-A146B respectively. All these smartphones are expected to launch sometime in early 2023. We can expect to learn more about these devices in the coming weeks.
