Samsung is likely to launch the Samsung Galaxy M42 5G and Galaxy A42 5G very soon in India. The two devices have been spotted on the BIS website.
The BIS listing of the two devices hints at an imminent launch. The company is yet to officially confirm the launch date of the two Galaxy smartphones in India. The BIS website reveals nothing but the model number of the respective smartphones. The Galaxy M42 has the model number SM-M426B/DS. The Galaxy A42 5G, on the other hand, has the model number SM-A426B/DS.
Both devices have been previously spotted on other certification websites. The Galaxy M42 could be the first 5G smartphone under the M-series in India. Previous leaks suggest that the phone could feature a 64MP camera setup and a 6000mAh battery.
The company has already announced some of the Samsung Galaxy A42 5G specifications last year. It features a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch. It sports a quad-rear camera setup on the back. We can expect it to feature a 64MP primary camera sensor. The device had earlier appeared on Geekbench 5 database with a Snapdragon 690 5G SoC. It will come with a 5000mAh battery, as per previous leaks.
