Xiaomi CEO, Manu Kumar Jain has tweeted announcing that the brand is going to launch a new smartphone in India soon. He mentioned in the tweet that this upcoming smartphone will be powered by ‘Snapdragon 7_ _’ chipset which was announced just two weeks ago.
As many of you might know, two Snapdragon 7 series chipsets have been announced two weeks ago – the Snapdragon 730 and the Snapdragon 730G. However, this upcoming smartphone will have Snapdragon 730 chipset, considering that Manu Kumar Jain mentioned just two blank letters in the chipset model number.
Although Manu Kumar Jain hasn’t revealed the name of the upcoming device, it could most probably be the Xiaomi Mi A3. If the Mi A3 features the Snapdragon 730 SoC, it could be the first smartphone to feature the Snapdragon 730 chipset. And if the Mi A3 comes with the same price tag as its predecessor, the Mi A2, it could be the most powerful smartphone in its price segment.
