Nothing Ear: Features, Specifications

The Nothing Ear features custom 11mm dynamic drivers with a ceramic diaphragm. The company claims to have improved the dual chamber design from last year, and as a result, the Nothing Ear has two additional vents to improve airflow, which results in clearer sound.

The Nothing Ear offers up to 45dB active noise cancellation and features a new Smart ANC algorithm. This algorithm automatically checks for noise leakage between the earbuds and the ear canal and adjusts ANC. There is also an adaptive ANC feature, which offers three noise cancellation levels: low, medium, and high.

The Nothing Ear offers a dual connection feature that allows users to switch between devices seamlessly. It also supports a low-latency mode for a seamless gaming experience. The Nothing Ear relies on Bluetooth connectivity and features support for LDAC and LHDC 5.0 audio codec for high-definition audio transfer.

Nothing Ear supports pinch controls that skip tracks, adjust volumes, and change noise cancellation modes. It relies on the Nothing X companion app, allowing for equaliser customisation per user preference. Users also get an option to create sound profiles for different genres.

The Nothing Ear earbuds offer up to 8.5 hours of music playback on a single charge. The earbuds can last for up to 40.5 hours with the charging case. The Nothing Ear features a USB Type-C port for charging and can provide up to 10 hours of music playback with just 10 minutes of charging. It also supports up to 2.5W wireless charging. The earbuds are IP54 rated. Whereas, the charging case is IP55 dust and water-resistant. It comes in Black and White colour options.
