NVIDIA RTX Remix gets support for the DLSS 3.5 With Ray Reconstruction, a new toolkit, and runtime enhancements. According to the official announcement post, the DLSS 3.5 with Ray Reconstruction will be a super convenient addition to the game modding platform. NVIDIA claims that the new addition will automatically tweak environments for different scenes and lighting to speed up the entire process for future RTX Remix mods.

NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 Ray Reconstruction Support Is Now Available in the RTX Remix

The RTX Remix is a game modding platform built on NVIDIA Omniverse. It offers generative AI tools to enhance game assets automatically and create classic remasters with full ray tracing and DLSS 3. Adding the latest DLSS 3.5 Ray Reconstruction eliminates the need to tweak assets for different scenes and lighting manually.

By automatically handling content that normal denoisers find challenging, the new addition will speed up the whole remastering process for RTX Remix mods. NVIDIA claims that the AI model powering the DLSS 3.5 Ray Reconstruction can adapt automatically thanks to the training on a variety of scenarios.

NVIDIA showcased Portal with RTX last month, with incredible details and lighting thanks to the improved fidelity of full ray tracing and responsiveness of dynamic lighting effects. With the addition of the DLSS 3.5 Ray Reconstruction to RTX Remix, modders can achieve the same level of illumination, shadows, reflections, refraction, and details in their RTX Remix mods.

Apart from DLSS 3.5 Ray Reconstruction, NVIDIA has also added a new Toolkit and Runtime enhancements to the RTX Remix Open Beta. These enhancements are designed to improve the mod’s image quality, expand compatibility, and make the whole modding process convenient.

The NVIDIA RTX Remix Open Beta was announced in January this year. Instead of building in-house remasters or outsourcing, NVIDIA has put the power in the hands of the community, and many mods have already been built, including Deus Ex, Tomb Raider, Max Payne, and Call of Duty 4.
