Oppo has launched a new budget smartphone in China under the K series. The brand has unveiled Oppo K9x, which is the fourth phone in the series after the  Oppo K9 Pro 5G, Oppo K9s 5G, and the vanilla Oppo K9 5G. The Oppo K9 series has been a China-exclusive series this year, and with the Oppo K9x launch as well, we expect the same. Some of the key features of the device include a 90Hz screen refresh rate display, Disney 810 SoC, a big battery, and 33W fast charging. Oppo K9x Price and Availability

The Oppo K9x starts at CNY 1,399 for the 6GB+128GB variant which is roughly Rs 16,400. The 8GB+128GB variant costs CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs 17,600), and CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs 20,000) for the 8GB+256GB configuration. The device will go on sale starting January 1 in China. It is available in Silver Purple Super Dream and Obsidian Samurai colour options.

The Oppo K9x sports a 6.49-inch Full HD+ resolution with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, 90.6% screen-to-body ratio, 480 nits brightness, and 405 ppi. It is an LCD screen. Under the hood, the phone is backed by MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset which has a clock speed of up to 2.4Ghz. This is paired with the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The Oppo K9x  comes in three configurations with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB UFS2.2 storage. 

On the inside, the phone packs in a large 5,000mAh battery which supports 33W fast charging via Type-C port. In terms of camera, the Oppo K9x has a 64MP, f/1.7 main camera, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP black and white portrait lens. To the front, you get a 16MP selfie snapper. 

Other features of the device include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 5G support, face unlock, 8.81mm thickness, 194-gram weight, Android 11, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
