Sony BRAVIA X75L Series: Specifications, Features
The Sony BRAVIA X75L features a refined design with narrow bezels for an immersive viewing experience. Speaking of the design, Sony claims that the TVs are built to last with X-Protection PRO, which protects the unit against dust, humidity, power surges, and lightning strikes. It means you don’t have to worry about turning your tv off during a lightning storm.
The new BRAVIA X75L TVs have up to 65-inch LCDs with Direct LED backlighting. The 4K display panel has features like HDR10, HLG, 4K Processor X1, and 4K X-Reality Pro. The first three features enhance the picture quality, contrast, and vividity of the picture. On the other hand, the 4K X-Reality PRO is designed to upscale 2K and HD picture quality close to 4K resolution. These TVs also flaunt Motionflow XR, which adds additional frames to the original media for a smoother and sharper video rendition.
In the audio department, the BRAVIA X75L TVs have two speakers of 10W each. The audio output is tuned by Clear Phase technology. It provides natural smooth and clear sound by analyzing the speakers’ frequency response, identifying, and removing any dips or peaks in the audio output. The open baffle down firing twin speakers also support Dolby Vision for a punchy bass.
As for the software, the new BRAVIA X75L series TVs are Android TVs, which means you can download over 10,000 apps and watch more than 7,00,000 movies and TV shows. They also come with support for Google Assistant, built-in Chromecast, and Alexa support. Apple users can connect their iPhone, iPad, or Mac to the TV with the help of Apple AirPlay and HomeKit. Apple users can also control the TV using Siri.
The gaming features include Auto HDR Tone Mapping and Auto Genre Picture Mode. The former can optimise the HDR settings of the TV during the initial setup of PlayStation 5. It means users can see actual colours and accurate details even in scenes with dark shadows and bright highlights. On the other hand, Auto Genre Picture mode switches seamlessly between the game and standard modes when PS5 is connected and when watching movies, respectively.
Connectivity options on these TVs include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, Ethernet, RF, composite video input, three HDMI 2.1 inputs with ARC and ALLM support, two USB ports, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
