Sony is currently offering deals on various PlayStation games and accessories. But those are not the only things to look for as we enter the new year. Sony has finally revealed PlayStation Plus January 2024 free monthly games. The lineup has three new games ‘A Plague Tale: Requiem’, ‘Evil West’, and ‘Nobody Saves the World’ and all of these can be claimed for free.
These games will be yours to play forever if you have an active PlayStation Plus membership. All you need to do is add them to your library once they become available.
PlayStation Plus January 2024 Free Games
Sony’s lineup for monthly free games for December 2023 disappointed many gamers. The good thing is the team has picked some of the desired titles for the January 2024 lineup. The aforementioned free games will be available for download starting January 2, 2024.
Users will have until February 5 to add them to their PlayStation library. This needs to be done only once and afterwards, you can play these games anytime you want as long as you have an active membership. The best part is these free games are available across all three PlayStation Plus tiers: Essential, Extra, and Premium/Deluxe.
A Plague Tale: Requiem (PS5)
‘A Plague Tale: Requiem’ is a successor to the highly acclaimed title ‘A Plague Tale: Innocence’. The game was released in October 2022 and received equally good praise as the original release. It continues the story of Amicia and Hugo as they attempt to start a new life and control Hugo’s curse. This is a game many players would be hoping to play one day. The only thing is you will need to have a PlayStation 5 to download and play this amazing title.
Evil West (PS4 and PS5)
Evil West is a third-person shooter game released in November 2022. You get to play as one of the last agents in a top-secret vampire-hunting institute. You will get to use different kinds of weapons as you embark on your quest to kill all the enemies you face. The game gives an option to play alone or enter the co-op mode with a friend. This free game can be played on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Nobody Saves the World (PS4 and PS5)
The last free game for January is ‘Nobody Saves the World’. It is an action role-playing dungeon crawling video game where you get to play a character called Nobody. Your goal is to save the world from an ancient Calamity by transforming into a Slug, Dragon, Ghost, and more. It is developed by Drinkbox Studios who are known for the Guacamelee game. You can try your hand at saving the world on a PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5.
