iQOO will introduce a new Z-series smartphone – the iQOO Z9x 5G on May 16 in India. Ahead of the launch, iQOO has now confirmed that the upcoming iQOO Z9x 5G will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC. Here are the details.

iQOO Z9x 5G: Confirmed Specs

The information was confirmed via iQOO’s X handle and the Amazon microsite. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 is a mid-tier processor manufactured on a 4nm fabrication process. It brings four Kryo performance cores (Cortex-A78-based, at up to 2.2GHz), four Kryo efficiency cores (Cortex-A55-based, operating at up to 1.8GHz), and an Adreno 710 GPU.

The promotional image shared by iQOO also showcases the device in black. The company already confirmed a green colour variant. Apart from this, the iQOO Z9x is confirmed to feature a flat-edge design.

It will offer a dual-rear camera setup, including a 50MP primary camera. The handset is expected to include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded into the power button. The phone is also confirmed to get a 6,000mAh battery with 44W FlashCharge fast charging.

The iQOO Z9x was unveiled last month in the Chinese market. The Chinese variant (which will be the same as the Indian variant) offers a 120Hz LCD screen with a 1,000nit peak brightness. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor and up to 12 GB of RAM. The handset has a 6,000mAh battery and 44W FlashCharge fast charging support.

The iQOO Z9x also offers a dual-rear camera setup, which consists of a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary camera, along with an 8MP selfie shooter. The smartphone also has an IP54 rating.
