Qubo, a Hero Electronix-owned smart devices brand, has made a debut in the smart air purifier market in India. The company launched three new air purifiers called Q200, Q400, and Q500 in India. The brand claims that these air purifiers are ideal for all kinds of homes and suit all types of rooms including bedrooms, large living rooms, and home offices.
The new range of air purifiers marks Qubo’s foray into smart home appliances. These air purifiers come with a multi-layer air purification system, smart app control, and Qubo’s proprietary AI technology. The new range of Qubo smart air purifiers in India starts at Rs 12,9990. They are all available in a single white colour. Qubo Q200, Q400, Q500 Features
As the name suggests, the Qubo Q200, Q400, and Q500 are ideal for rooms measuring 200 sq ft, 400 sq ft, and 500 sq ft, respectively. They have a Clean Air Delivery Rate or CADR of 150 m3/h, 300 m3/h, and 350 m3/h, respectively. As for power consumption, the Qubo Q200 uses 38W AC, whereas the Qubo Q400 and Q500 use 35W and 45W DC, respectively. Qubo claims that all three smart air purifiers have a maximum noise generation of 55 dB/A, which is not that loud.
Coming to the filtration, the Qubo Q200, Q400, and Q500 come with an advanced 4-layer air purification system. They feature a pre-filter, nano silver anti-bacterial filter, activated carbon, and H13 HEPA filter. According to Qubo, the new air purifiers come with a rated filter life of up to 9,000 hours. It means users will not have to worry about replacing the filter for at least a year depending on the pollution levels in their area. Qubo claims that its smart air purifiers can effectively remove particles as small as 0.03 microns and eliminate 99.97% of dust, pollen, pet dander, and mold from the air.
Qubo has also integrated smart features in these air purifiers, which can be controlled from the Qubo app. Moreover, the app also offers information about the outdoor and ambient air quality to help users stay safe. Users can control three fan speeds and various modes from the app as well. The Qubo Q200, Q400, and Q500 offer manual, auto, sleep, and QSensAI modes.
While other modes are self-explanatory, the QSensAI mode is Qubo’s proprietary AI technology. It learns from the usage pattern and also analyses the ambient PM2.5 levels to automatically adjust the air purifier performance. This ensures prolonged filter life and energy savings while still maintaining clean air. Other features include Wi-Fi, filter change indicator, child lock, schedule, timer, and touch panel.
