Realme, last week introduced the Realme 12 5G and the Realme 12+ 5G in India. The company now seems to be preparing to launch yet another Realme 12 series phone – the Realme 12x 5G. We have spotted the Realme 12x 5G with the model number RMX3997 on Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG), Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), TUV, and EEC certification websites.
Alongside, the upcoming Realme 12x 5G has also made an appearance on the Camera FV-5 database. Appearance of the Realme handset on several certification websites hints towards an imminent launch. Let us take a closer look at the details.
The Realme 12x 5G moniker has been confirmed through Bluetooth SIG listing. The listing suggests that the handset will feature support for Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. The Realme 12x 5G also acquired TUV Rheinland certification, which reveals that the handset will be equipped with a 4,890mAh battery unit with support for 15W (5V/3A) fast charging.
The Realme 12x 5G has also cleared the Bureau of Indian Standards certification. So, its India launch seems to be on the cards. The upcoming Realme handset has also acquired EEC certification in Russia. The Realme 12x 5G also appeared on the Camera FV-5 database.
The Realme 12x 5G’s rear camera will offer a 28mm equivalent focal length with an f/1.8 aperture. This could be a 50MP resolution sensor. The smartphone’s front camera has a 26mm focal length with an f/2.0 aperture. Apart from this, the listing doesn’t reveal anything about the Realme 12x 5G.
The Realme 12x 5G will arrive as a successor of the Realme 11x 5G, launched last year. The handset is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor and offers a 120Hz LCD screen.
