Realme unveiled the Realme GT 5G smartphone back in March in China. Later, the brand unveiled a cheaper Realme GT series smartphone – Realme GT Neo. The Realme GT Neo is all set to make its debut in the country as Realme X7 Max on May 31st. Ahead of the Realme X7 Max, the Realme GT has made an appearance on Realme India website. The smartphone retails in a 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant in China. This variant of the handset is priced at RMB 3399 (approx Rs. 38,640).

The Realme GT packs a 6.43-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The handset comes with a punch-hole notch for the front shooter and the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Under the hood, the Realme GT sports an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G processor built on a 5nm fabrication process. While the graphics duties on the handset are handset are handled by an integrated Adreno 660 GPU. The smartphone packs 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It boots Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0
Moving to the optics, the GT offers a triple-rear camera setup with an LED flash inside a rectangular module placed on the top left corner. The primary 64MP Sony IMX682 primary sensor on the handset gets accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. On the front, it gets a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calls.
The smartphone packs a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor, a USB Type-C charging port, a 3.5mm audio jack with HiRes audio, and Dolby Atmos certification. On the connectivity part, the smartphone offers 5G Dual-mode, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and GPS. What do you think of Realme GT?
