Redmi Note 13 4G, Note 13 Pro 4G Specifications Leaked Ahead of Debut

Xiaomi recently confirmed that the Redmi Note 13 series will debut globally on January 4 in India. The Chinese smartphone giant will debut the vanilla Note 13 5G, Note 13 Pro 5G, and Note 13 Pro+ 5G smartphones at the January 4 launch event. Our team at MySmartPrice spotted the upcoming Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G smartphone in the FCC certification in November 2023. The smartphone was spotted in FCC certification along with the Poco M6 Pro 4G smartphone.

Later, the duo also made its appearance in the IMDA certification. Kacper, a reliable tipster, has now revealed that Xiaomi will debut the Redmi Note 13 4G variant in the global markets with the same chipset as its predecessor.

The vanilla 4G smartphone was later spotted in the FCC certification, hinting at an imminent launch. The complete specifications of the upcoming Note 13 4G and Note 13 Pro 4G have been revealed by Appuals.

Redmi Note 13 4G and Note 13 Pro 4G Expected Specifications

The upcoming 4G variants will sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. The display will have a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1000 nits. Xiaomi will equip the device with a centred punch hole cut-out to house the selfie camera, similar to the 5G variants. Under the hood, the vanilla Note 13 4G will sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 SoC, built on a 6nm process.

The chipset features four Cortex-A73 cores at 2.8GHz, four Cortex-A53 cores at 1.9GHz, and an Adreno 610 GPU. In comparison, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G variant will feature the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, found on the 4G variant of the Redmi 13C smartphone launched in India. The chipset is fabricated on a 6nm process and features two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.2GHz, six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz, and a Mali-G57 MP2 GPU.

Xiaomi will debut the smartphones with the older MIUI 14 based on Android 13. The smartphones will receive HyperOS based on the Android 14 update at a later stage. The Snapdragon 685 and Helio G99 chipsets are tipped to pair with 8GB / 12GB of RAM and 256GB / 512GB of storage. Xiaomi will equip the smartphones with a triple camera setup different from its 5G variants.

The vanilla Note 13 4G will feature a 108MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture paired with a secondary 8MP ultrawide lens and 2MP macro lens. The upcoming Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G will sport a 200MP primary sensor and a similar 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro lens. Xiaomi will launch the upcoming smartphones in Purple and Green colour options.

Xiaomi will equip the upcoming smartphones with a 3.5mm headphone jack and IR blaster. Other connectivity options will include Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 5, NFC, Dual Nano SIM, and GPS. The vanilla Note 13 4G and Note 13 Pro 4G will weigh around 188.5 and 187 grams, respectively. Xiaomi is likely to continue the existing battery and fast charging capabilities of the device.
