One of the leading Indian esports organizations, Revenant Esports partnered with AMD, a global semiconductor manufacturer as its title partner. As part of this partnership, the two companies will collaborate to foster the growth of esports communities and enhance PC gaming rosters both within the country and on a global scale.

As per the findings in the State of India Gaming Report for 2022, the Indian esports sector is projected to reach a value of $140 million by the year 2027. In recent times, esports has gained widespread acceptance as a mainstream sport, particularly following its inclusion as an official medal sport in various international sporting events. Its significance is further boosted by partnerships like these.

Being the official title sponsor, AMD is set to have its branding prominently featured on the torso jersey spot, ensuring maximum visibility across all of Revenant Esports’ teams during tournaments. Additionally, AMD will play a crucial role in supporting Revenant Esports’ PC rosters by equipping them with their processors and contributing to the overall infrastructure of the teams.

AMD, a leading semiconductor manufacturer since 1969, is a key player in the video game sector, powering gaming experiences globally. Over the years, the company has been a significant collaborator with esports teams and events, having engaged in partnerships with notable names such as SK Gaming and PSG Talon. In the previous year, AMD took on the role of sponsor for the Skyesports Masters, marking its support for India’s inaugural franchised esports league. In 2021, AMD signed a similar partnership with Velocity Gaming.

Revenant Esports stands out in India’s esports scene, particularly in PC gaming, with consistent success across various titles. Founded in 2021, Revenant Esports now holds five rosters across PC gaming titles like Counter-Strike 2 and VALORANT, along with mobile games like BGMI, Brawl Stars, and Pokemon Unite. Throughout 2023, the organization forged significant partnerships with brands like ViewSonic, KREO, and GIGABYTE.

Furthermore, Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff’s investment in Revenant Esports last year heightened the organisation’s prominence in the Indian market.

Their achievements include podium finishes, qualifying for the $1 million Apex Legends Global Series 2022 Split 2 Playoffs, and winning the Esportz Premier Series VALORANT LAN. Notably, they secured the runners-up position in the Skyesports Masters for Counter-Strike, India’s first franchised esports league with a substantial INR 2 Crore Prize Pool.

Earlier today, Revenant Esports made waves with new acquisitions for its Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) roster, welcoming the talented duo AquaNox and Blaze. Looking ahead to 2024, Revenant Esports is poised to re-enter top PC gaming titles, aiming for continued excellence.
