The latest Galaxy S23 FE leak is coming from usually reliable tipster Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh). The upcoming smartphone is said to sport a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This is the same as the currently available Galaxy S21 FE which was recently refreshed with Qualcomm processor in India.
The phone is expected to have an Exynos 2200 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor depending on the market. This is in line with a previous leak claiming Samsung is considering returning to the two-chipset variants approach. It is expected to do the same with the next-gen Galaxy S24 flagship series but it will have Exynos 2400 chipset.
The Galaxy S23 FE is said to be available in multiple configurations with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB onboard storage. There is expected to be a triple rear camera setup including a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 12MP telephoto sensor. There are no words on the front camera specs yet.
Samsung is expected to pack the Galaxy S23 FE with a 4,500mAh battery and 25W fast charging support. This is another thing that seems to be carried forward from the Galaxy S21 FE. The smartphone is tipped to offer wireless charging and an IP rating for dust and water resistance.
On the software side of things, the leak claims Galaxy S23 FE will boot One UI 5.1.1 based on Android 13 out of the box. The smartphone is said to receive at least four major Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates. One of these will surely be the upcoming One UI 6.0 based on Android 14.
This is pretty much what has been revealed in the latest Galaxy S23 FE specifications leak. The phone is certainly similar to the Galaxy S21 FE with a few changes here and there to differentiate. There are no details on the pricing yet but considering the Galaxy S21 FE Snapdragon variant is priced at Rs 49,999 in India, we can expect it to be priced something similar.
