Samsung Galaxy S24+, Galaxy S24 Ultra Battery Details Leaked

Samsung Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra might pack slightly bigger batteries than their respective outgoing models. The details about the same have been revealed via a Dekra certification listing. According to the website, the Galaxy S24+ has a battery with the model number EB-BS926ABY. The battery has a rated capacity of 4755mAh. The Galaxy S23+ came with a battery capacity of 4700mAh. This suggests that the upcoming Galaxy S24+ will have a slightly bigger battery than the model it replaces. Samsung might market the overall typical battery capacity as 4900mAh or even 5000mAh.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra has a rated battery capacity of 4855mAh, which suggests that it could have a typical rating of about 5100mAh. The Galaxy S23 Ultra packs a 5000mAh battery. Therefore, it could be possible that the upcoming Galaxy S24 Ultra could pack a bigger battery than the Galaxy S22 Ultra and Galaxy S23 Ultra.

The US variant of the Galaxy S24+ was spotted on the Geekbench website with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The Galaxy S24 Ultra US variant will also pack the same SoC. There are rumours of Samsung launching an Exynos variant of the Galaxy S24 series in select markets. These select few regions will get the upcoming Exynos 2400 SoC.

Some other details about the upcoming Galaxy S24 series have leaked as well. Samsung might use a titanium chassis for the Galaxy S24 series. The Galaxy S24+ is also rumoured to sport a 6.65-inch AMOLED display, which is slightly bigger than the Galaxy S23+’s 6.65-inch panel.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra, on the other hand, is said to sport a 144Hz QHD+ AMOLED display. This would be the first time that a Galaxy S series flagship will sport a 144Hz panel. The exact screen size of the Ultra model is unknown at the moment. Samsung has typically launched its Ultra models with a 6.8-inch display.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra is also said to feature a new 200MP sensor with improvements over the one found in the Galaxy S23 Ultra. More details about Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S series flagship phones should surface soon.
