Samsung is expected to unveil the Samsung Galaxy S24 series next year. Similar to the Galaxy S23 series, the Galaxy S24 lineup is expected to include three devices. The specifications of the Galaxy S24 Ultra were leaked back in August. The leak revealed that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, a 200MP camera, and a 5,000mAh battery. While we wait for the launch, the Galaxy S24 series now has received the 3C certification in China. The 3C listing reveals the model number and fast-charging details of the lineup ahead of launch.
Galaxy S24 Ultra Will Offer 45W Fast Charging
As per the 3C certification, the upcoming Galaxy S24 (SM-S9210) will offer 25W fast charging support. On the other hand, the Galaxy S24+ (SM-S9260) and the Galaxy S24 Ultra (SM-S9280) will offer 45W fast charging support respectively. Furthermore, the certification also reveals that the lineup will have 5G support. Apart from the fast charging details, and model number no other information is revealed by the 3C listing.
The details revealed by 3C certification also suggest the Galaxy S24 series will offer a similar charging speed as that of the Galaxy S23 series, and there won’t be any upgrade. The previous leak suggests that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will have a flat-screen design instead of a curved screen as seen in the predecessor.
The past information shared by tipster Ice Universe had disclosed that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will measure 162.3 x 79 x 8.6mm in terms of dimensions. The tipster also had revealed that the device will feature a 200MP primary camera. The device might feature a 50MP telephoto camera and a 10MP periscope lens at the back.
We can expect the upcoming Galaxy S24 lineup to debut in some markets with either Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or Exynos 2400 SoC. The Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24+ could pack a maximum 512GB of internal storage, whereas the Galaxy S24 Ultra might come with up to 1TB of internal storage.
The Galaxy S24+ US version had made an appearance at Geekbench back in July. The benchmark listing confirmed that the device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC which is codenamed pineapple. Furthermore, the benchmark listing also confirmed that the device will pack 8GB of RAM. The smartphone had managed to pull out scores of 2223 and 6661 in the single-core and multi-core test results.
