Samsung recently concluded its first Unpacked event in its home country, South Korea. The company unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, Tab S9 series and more at the event. Popular tipster Ice Universe recently revealed the specifications of the telephoto lens of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphone. The tipster says that the new telephoto lens will help Samsung to improve the image quality of the telephoto lens.
Another tipster, Yogesh Brar, has tipped the forthcoming Galaxy S24 Ultra specifications in a new post in X (formerly Twitter). The tipster reveals the upcoming smartphone’s camera, chipset and battery details. The battery details of the forthcoming smartphone were recently revealed by Dekra certification. The certification also hints that Samsung might launch the Galaxy S24 smartphone soon.

Yogesh Brar reveals that Samsung will equip the Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphone with a 200MP primary lens. The leak hints that Samsung will continue to equip the smartphone with an improved capability for primary cameras compared to its predecessor. The tipster also adds that Samsung will continue to equip the smartphone with a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Yogesh Brar also echoes the upgradation in the telephoto lens that Ice Universe revealed.
The post in X (formerly Twitter) confirms that Samsung will equip the Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphone with a 50MP telephoto lens. Ice Universe reveals that Samsung will equip the device with 3X optical zoom support. The sensor is tipped to equip with a pixel size of 0.7μm and a sensor size of 1/2.52. The tipster adds that the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature a better-quality image at 5X zoom.
Samsung will also equip the smartphone with a similar 10MP periscope lens with 10X optical zoom. Yogesh reveals that Samsung will equip the Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphone with a similar 12MP selfie camera. The upcoming Galaxy S24 Ultra retains camera specifications identical to the Galaxy S23 Ultra except for the telephoto lens.
Yogesh adds that the forthcoming smartphone will be backed by a 5000mAh battery with 45W fast wired charging support. The Dekra certification revealed that Samsung will equip the smartphone with a rated battery capacity of 4855mAh. The report also added that Samsung might market the smartphone with a 5100mAh battery.
The tipster adds that Samsung will launch the smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Exynos 2400 in select markets. Samsung is tipped to launch the smartphone in European markets with the Exynos SoC to keep costs down. The upcoming Galaxy S24 Ultra is tipped to feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED display.
The display will continue to retain the QHD+ resolution but will support a 144Hz refresh rate. Samsung will equip the Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphone with an S-Pen, similar to its predecessor. Previously, a tipster revealed that Samsung will continue to equip the Ultra smartphones with 200MP primary lenses until Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra. The Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S26 Ultra and Galaxy S27 Ultra are tipped to feature massive upgrades in sensor capabilities.
