Samsung is expected to announce the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) tablet in the upcoming weeks. Today, we have spotted the Wi-Fi variant of the forthcoming tablet on the SafteyKorea certification. To recall, the LTE variant of the tablet was recently certified by the FCC, revealing the battery and fast charging details.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) SafetyKorea Certification
The Wi-Fi variant of the upcoming tablet has obtained the SafetyKorea certification with the SM-P620 model number. The SafetyKorea certification reveals the live image of the device, confirming the frontal design.
The upcoming Samsung tablet is said to come with large bezels. The top bezel of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 will house a selfie camera similar to its predecessor. In addition, we have also spotted the Wi-Fi variant of the tablet in the FCC certification with the same SM-P620 model number.
The FCC certification obtained by the LTE variant of the tablet also confirms that the EB-BT725ABU battery will back the device with 15W fast charging support. The battery was initially found on the Galaxy Tab S5e, which debuted with a 7,040mAh battery.
Samsung will also debut the tablet with an S Pen with the CP-911-01B-X (WACOM) model number. The upcoming tablet will also sport support for dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Lastly, the FCC certification also adds that the device will feature an LCD panel similar to the LTE variant.
The LTE and Wi-Fi variants were also certified by SGS Fimko. As per the certification, the device will be backed by a 6840mAh minimum-rated battery.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) Expected Specifications
The Geekbench certification obtained by the tablet reveals that the tablet will debut with the Exynos 1280 SoC and One UI 6 based on Android 14 out of the box. A report from Appuals reveals that Samsung will debut the Wi-Fi and LTE variants in 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB configurations.
The report adds that the tablet will sport a 10.4-inch LCD screen. The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) tablet is tipped to launch in Chiffon Pink, Oxford Gray, and Light Green colourways.
