We are three weeks into 2024, and Samsung has revealed its flagship Galaxy S24 series. Just like every year, the latest lineup comprises three devices: the standard Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. The interesting part is all these smartphones are going to be carrying the Made in India badge as the South Korean conglomerate plans to produce its latest flagship lineup at its Noida facility.

J B Park, Samsung India’s President and CEO, expressed excitement about the latest smartphones, stating, “While the world talks about AI, the Galaxy S24 series brings it live to you. I am very happy to announce that the Galaxy S24 series will be manufactured at our Noida factory in India.” Pre-bookings for the smartphones will begin on January 18, with sales starting from January 31.

Furthermore, Raju Pullan, Samsung India’s Senior Vice-President for mobile business, confirmed that the entire S24 series would be manufactured in India, catering not only to the domestic market but also for global distribution.

Pullan also revealed special offers for Indian consumers, stating, “We will have an upgrade programme for India where consumers can buy Galaxy S24 Ultra 512 GB at an effective price almost equal to the price of Galaxy S23 Ultra 256 GB version.” Similar deals will be available for other Galaxy S24 models.

The devices will be available on Samsung’s Online Store, Amazon, Flipkart, and prominent offline retail chains. Samsung is providing a no-cost EMI option and an exchange offer of up to Rs 39,999 on the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus and up to Rs 59,999 on the larger Galaxy S24 Ultra.

The Galaxy S24 series places a significant emphasis on artificial intelligence (AI). It incorporates a range of impressive features such as circle-to-search, real-time voice call and message translation, enhanced image editing, camera effects tailored for content creators, and more. Additionally, the phones are equipped with Corning Gorilla Armor glass to augment display durability. Furthermore, they boast top-of-the-line specifications, including the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chipset, 12GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage, a best-in-class 200MP quad-camera setup, and more.
