Apple unveiled the latest iPad Air and iPad Pro iteration at its ‘Let Loose’ event. The iPad Pro lineup has major upgrades, including an OLED display with Nano-texture glass at the back, a new design, and the new Apple M4 processor. With these upgrades, the Apple iPad Pro has now become more costlier.

Apple iPad Air 6th Gen vs iPad Air 5th Gen: Price Comparison
The Apple iPad Air base variant now comes with 128GB storage, double that of its predecessor. Despite offering double storage, its starting price hasn’t gone up. If we compare the prices of the 256GB model, we see that the new iPad Air is a little cheaper than its predecessor.

Apple iPad Pro M4 vs iPad Pro M2: Price Comparison
Apple iPad Pro has become more costly and has an even more complicated price structure. The older iPad Pro (2022) was launched at Rs 81,900 for the base 11-inch variant. To purchase the iPad Pro (2024) WiFi variant, buyers will have to spend up to Rs 18,000 more than before, given the price is now Rs 99,900 for the 11-inch option. The WiFi + Cellular variants will cost Rs 20,000 extra.
Apple has also introduced a nano-textured glass variant for the iPad Pro. This option is only available if a user picks a 1TB or 2TB iPad Pro, irrespective of screen size. The cost goes up by another Rs 10,000 for this special glass.

Apple’s new iPads are available for pre-order in India starting today. Deliveries will start May 15, according to Apple’s website.
