Samsung is gearing up for the launch of two Galaxy A-series tablets, the Galaxy Tab A9 and the Galaxy Tab A9+. The latter was spotted recently at India’s BIS certification. Additionally, it appeared on Geekbench with a Snapdragon 695 SoC and 4GB of RAM. On the other hand, the Galaxy Tab A9 received the FCC and Wi-Fi Alliance certification. Now, ahead of the official launch, the Galaxy Tab A9+ has received the FCC certification. The FCC listing reveals the model number and dimensions of the tablet. Additionally, the battery capacity and fast charging details of the device is confirmed by the FCC listing.
Galaxy Tab A9+ Dimensions Revealed
As per the FCC certification document, the Galaxy Tab A9+ carries the model number as SM-X210. The certification further reveals that the tablet will measure 257.11×168.66×6.94mm in terms of dimensions. The certification documents also confirms that the tablet will have several connectivity features including Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz & 5.8GHz frequency band). Furthermore, the listing also confirms that the tablet was tested with a charger having model number EP-T1510, and a battery having the model number as WT-S-W11. This does indicate that the Galaxy Tab A9+ will pack a 7,040mAh battery (Typical) which will have a 15W fast charging.
As mentioned above, the tablet also appeared on Geekbench recently. The benchmark listing confirmed that the tablet will run Android 13 out of the box. The device will feature a Snapdragon 695 SoC which will be accompanied by 4GB of RAM.
On the other hand, the Galaxy Tab A9 already has received the FCC certification a couple of days back. The listing had revealed that the tablet will measure 210.7mm in length and 124.7mm in width. The FCC certification also revealed that the device will pack a 5,000mAh battery which will support 15W fast charging. The live images of the Galaxy Tab A9 were also leaked courtesy of SafetyKorea certification, which confirmed that the tablet will have a single rear-facing camera.
Currently, the other specifications of the Galaxy Tab A9 series such as its display size, RAM and storage configuration, and camera information remain unknown. Additionally, the launch date of the Galaxy Tab A9 series is yet to be revealed by the company. We shall get to learn more about this upcoming tablet lineup as the days pass.
