Tecno Pop 8: Launch Date, Price Range
Tecno divulges that the forthcoming budget smartphone will debut on January 3 in India. The upcoming Pop 8 will be the first smartphone to debut in India in 2024. The teaser video also reveals that the device will be priced at Rs 5,xxx. The teased price range divulges that Tecno will debut the smartphone under Rs 6,000 in the country.
The video also confirms that Tecno will equip the smartphone with a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a centered punch-hole cutout to house the selfie camera. The display has a refresh rate of 90Hz and sports 8H surface hardness. The micro-site of the upcoming Tecno smartphone is already live on Amazon India, confirming the Amazon availability of the device.
The micro-site divulges the Dynamic Port feature that will debut with the upcoming smartphone. Tecno confirms that the smartphone has scored under 2,40,000 points in the AnTuTu V10 benchmarking platform. The forthcoming device will debut with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The micro-site reveals the support for virtual RAM extension up to 4GB.
Tecno will debut the smartphones in Gravity Black and Mystery White colour options. Tecno equips the smartphone with dual rear cameras and LED flash with AI camera branding on the rear. The power button and volume rockers are placed on the right. The SIM card tray can be seen on the left side of the device.
