Airtel, India’s second-largest telecom player, has launched its 5G Plus services in 16 cities in West Bengal. The subscribers of Airtel in Jalpaiguri, Darjeeling, Berhampore, Old Malda, Raiganj, Durgapur, Balurghat, Alipurduar, Dinhata, Asansol, Barrdhaman, Koch Bihar, Medinipur, Islampur and Kharagpur can now access 5G Plus services. Airtel users.

This means Airtel users in all 16 cities are now allowed to access 5G Plus services without additional cost. Plus, the 5G Plus services will be available in a phased manner. In addition, the company said that users will get 20 to 30 times faster speed than the 4G speed without any extra cost.

Apart from launching 5G Plus services in West Bengal, Airtel brought 5G Plus services in Jodhpur, Ajmer, Alwar, Bikaner & Bhilwara, whereas available in Kota, Jaipur, and Udaipur. In addition, the services have been launched at Har Ki Pauri, Khanna Nagar, Jagjeetpur, Shivalik Nagar, Jwalapur, Bahadrabad, Ranipur, and Brampuri. Meanwhile, the company’s CEO added that the 5G Plus services will be available in 300 cities by the end of this financial year and will cover all cities by March 2024.
