Thomson has launched its new range of air coolers in India. These coolers have capacities between 28 and 150 litres and an air-throwing distance of up to 90 feet. The Desert Series also features a BLDC (brushless direct current) motor for better energy savings and higher cooling efficiency. Thomson Personal and Desert Series Air Coolers: Features
The Thomson Personal air cooler, with a capacity of 28 litres, is designed for compact rooms. It features a 2600rpm motor with an air-throw distance of up to 25 feet. The cooler is equipped with a five-fin blade for better airflow and a noiseless design for silent operations.
The cooler is also compatible with inverters. Other features include motorized movement for airflow control, a water level indicator, auto-swing, and an auto pump. It uses a 3D honeycomb mesh for cooling.
The Thomson Desert Series includes three models. These have the same features and are available in 105, 115, and 150-litre capacities. The Thomson Desert air coolers feature a BLDC motor that consumes less energy than normal motors.
They are equipped with four-fin alloy metal blades that provide an air-throwing range of 45 feet, 50 feet, and 90 feet, respectively. They feature the same honeycomb media pads for cooling.
The Thomson Desert air coolers are also compatible with inverters. They also come with regular features such as auto swing and auto pump. The company offers a 1-year comprehensive warranty for all its new air coolers.
SPPL, Thomson’s official licensee in India, announced that it will invest Rs 75 crores in the country to boost local manufacturing of air coolers.
