Vivo Opens Its Largest Experiential Centre In Delhi; Launches Exclusive Promotional Offers

Vivo has partnered with a Gujrat-based retail mobile phone chain Kore Mobile to open the experiential centre in Vikas Marg, Delhi.

Vivo has announced the opening of its largest experiential centre in India. The Chinese smartphone maker said in a press release that this store has been opened in Delhi and it will offer an all-in-one experience. It will integrate sales and service to make the retail experience more immersive for its users.

Vivo has partnered with a Gujrat-based retail mobile phone chain Kore Mobile to open the experiential centre in Vikas Marg, Delhi. The store is spread across two floors and boasts a retail area of over 2800 sqft.

Vivo already has four more flagship stores in India in cities like Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Delhi and Coimbatore. The company said in a press release that it plans to open a total of ten experiential stores by 2024. In addition to flagship stores, vivo also has a network of 650 exclusive stores in the country.

Vivo’s experiential centre gets dedicated spaces for service centres and activity zones. The latter are aimed at enhancing engagement among users and include low-light photography, dark zone and portrait photography. Users can experience the company’s devices, and get access to premium services, accessories, IOT, and X series gaming.

Vivo will also hold special workshops during the launch of its X and V-series devices, in which users can participate as well to test the key features of these products.

Vivo Launches Exclusive Offers

Vivo has announced a slew of offers for those who visit the store. Vivo has organised a lucky draw with an assured gift for every visitor on the launch day. In addition, those members of the company’s Loyalty Program can accumulate up to 3 percent loyalty points to redeem for accessories. 

Vivo is also guaranteeing a gift with its Kore Mobile ‘Scratch and Win' promotion. Users also stand a chance to win a car, though the offer is only valid until November 30. On every purchase until Diwali, users can choose between a free CDP (V Shield Plan) or accessories.

Vivo Slipped To Third Position In Indian Smartphone In Q3: IDC

Even though vivo slipped to third position in the Indian smartphone market in the third quarter of 2023 (3Q23), from the first position in 2Q23; it continues to maintain a stronghold.

In 2Q23, vivo led the Indian smartphone market with 16 percent market share as it took over Samsung, which had 15.7 percent share, as per a previous report by IDC (International Data Corporation).  On the third spot was realme with 12.6 percent market share.

According to a recent IDC report vivo took the third spot in the Indian smartphone market with 13.9 percent market 3Q23. The top smartphone brand was Samsung in the quarter with 16.2 percent market share, followed by realme with a market share of 15.1 percent.
