Vivo recently unveiled the Vivo Y100 5G smartphone in the Chinese market. The Vivo Y100 5G Chinese variant is different compared to the Vivo Y100 which was launched few months back in India. It appears that the Vivo Y100 5G from China might make a debut as the Vivo Y79+ 5G in global markets as we have spotted the upcoming Vivo Y79+ 5G with the model number V2313 on the Google Play Console databae.

To those unaware, the Vivo Y100 Chinese variant also has the same model number which suggests that the upcoming Vivo Y79+ 5G might be a rebadged Vivo Y100 from China. Let us take a closer look at the details.

Vivo Y79+

The Vivo Y79+ Google Play Console listing reveals that it will feature a 1080 × 2400 pixel resolution display with a 480ppi pixel density. The listing also reveals the presence os an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon SM6375 SoC under the hood. The SoC features 2 Cortex A78 performance cores and 6 Cortex A55 efficiency cores. The system on chip on the upcoming Y-series handset also includes an Adreno 619 GPU as per the listing.

The listing suggests that the Vivo Y79+ 5G will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, same as the Vivo Y100 5G Chinese variant. The listing also reveals that the Vivo Y79+ will be equipped with 12GB of memory. The handset will come pre-loaded with Android 13.
