itel will launch the itel Icon 2 smartwatch in India on March 5. The upcoming itel Icon 2 will arrive as a successor to the first-generation itel Icon released in India last year. The second generation Icon model will be sold in India via Amazon and will be available in three colour options. The specifications of the Icon 2 are also revealed, as Amazon has made the microsite live ahead of launch.
itel Icon 2 To Have 1.83-inch Display, Bluetooth Calling Support, And IP68 Rating
As far as the specifications of the Icon 2 go, it will boast a 1.83-inch curved display with 500 nits brightness. The smartwatch will have a round dial and a rotating crown for easier navigation. The wearable will also have 150+ watch faces for customization, Bluetooth v5.3 support, and Bluetooth calling support.
Furthermore, the smartwatch will have a standby battery backup of up to 30 days, support for over 100 sports modes, and other health monitoring features such as heart rate monitoring, SpO2 monitoring, sleep tracking, and a female health tracker.
The smartwatch will even have AI voice assistant support, a camera, music controls, and an IP68 water and dust resistance rating. The smartwatch will also come with a free strap. The wearable will be available in Black, Blue, and Rose Gold. While the pricing of the smartwatch remains unknown currently, one can expect to retail at under Rs 2,000, as the first generation model was launched for Rs 2,095.
To recall, the first generation itel Icon features a 1.38-inch display. It has a round dial and 550 nits brightness. Furthermore, the smartwatch also supports 100+ customizable watch faces, Bluetooth calling support, 100+ sports mode support, and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. The wearable packs a 250mAh battery, which is claimed to offer 12 days of standby battery life.
