Xiaomi has reduced the price of its Pad 5 Android tablet in India ahead of Xiaomi Pad 6 launch.

Xiaomi has slashed the prices of both variants of the Xiaomi Pad 5 in India. The 128GB variant, which retailed at Rs 26,999, can now be purchased for Rs 25,999. On the other hand, the top-end 256GB variant was priced at Rs 28,999 but is now retailing for Rs 28,499. It can be purchased in Cosmic Black colour from Amazon, Mi.com, and Mi stores across India.

The Xiaomi Pad 5 is now up to Rs 1,00 cheaper in India.
The Xiaomi Pad 5 flaunts a 10.95-inch 2.5K LCD screen that offers a 2560 × 1600 pixels screen resolution. Other display features of the tablet include 650nits of brightness, 120Hz refresh rate, DCI-P3 colour gamut support, and the segment-first Dolby Vision support. The audio features include a quad-speaker configuration with support for Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio certification.
Powering the performance of the device is a Snapdragon 860 octa-core chipset. The powerful chipset is built on a 7nm fabrication process and paired with an Adreno 640 GPU. On the memory and storage front, Xiaomi Pad 5 offers 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage.
In the camera department, Xiaomi has fitted the Pad 5 Android tablet with a single camera on the rear panel featuring a 13-megapixel sensor. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel shooter to take care of selfies and video calling. The camera can record up to 4K resolution videos at 30fps.
The company is offering a 22.5W adapter, USB Type-C Cable, Quick Start Guide, and warranty card in the box. Out of the box, the Xiaomi Pad 5 boots MIUI for Pad based on Android 12. At its core, there is an 8,720mah battery that supports 33W fast charging.
Other features include Mi Smart Pen support, 24-bit/192khz audio support, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, and a USB Type-C port with OTG support. There’s also a speaker channel mapping feature, which flips the speakers based on the orientation of the tablet.
