Dell Technologies has expanded its premium gaming laptop portfolio in India with the launch of the new Alienware 16X Aurora, Alienware 16 Area-51, and Alienware 18 Area-51. First introduced globally at CES 2026, the latest lineup brings Intel’s latest Core Ultra processors, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs, upgraded thermal architecture, and high-refresh-rate displays.
Alienware 16X Aurora specifications and features
The Alienware 16X Aurora is positioned as a premium gaming laptop that balances portability with performance. It is powered by Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processors and can be configured with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPU. The laptop features a 16-inch WQXGA anti-glare OLED display with a 240 Hz refresh rate, a 0.2 ms response time, HDR True Black 500 certification, up to 620 nits of HDR peak brightness, and up to 120% DCI-P3 colour volume. Dell says the new anti-glare OLED panel reduces gloss by up to 32%, helping to minimise reflections while maintaining OLED image quality.
To sustain performance during long gaming sessions, Dell has equipped the laptop with a redesigned Cryo-Chamber cooling system. It also includes Alienware’s Stealth Mode, which can be activated using the F7 key to reduce fan noise and switch the keyboard lighting to white for work or study. The laptop is offered in an Interstellar Indigo finish inspired by the night sky.
Alienware 16 Area-51 and Alienware 18 Area-51 specifications
The Alienware Area-51 series sits at the top of Dell’s gaming lineup. The Alienware 16 Area-51 features a 16-inch WQXGA anti-glare OLED display with a 240 Hz refresh rate and a 0.2 ms response time, while the larger Alienware 18 Area-51 sports an 18-inch WQXGA display with up to a 300 Hz refresh rate and a 3 ms response time.
Both laptops are powered by Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processors and can be configured with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPUs. Users can also opt for up to 64 GB of DDR5 RAM and 2 TB of storage. Other features include a 96 Wh battery, Thunderbolt 5, Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, customisable RGB lighting, and upgraded thermal engineering. Dell says the Alienware 16 Area-51 can deliver up to 240 W of Total Performance Power (TPP), while the Alienware 18 Area-51 reaches up to 280 W TPP in supported configurations.

The Dell Alienware 16X Aurora starts at Rs. 2,62,990, while the Alienware 16 Area-51 is priced from Rs. 3,97,960. The larger Alienware 18 Area-51 starts at Rs. 3,95,200. The new gaming laptops are available through Dell’s official website, Dell Exclusive Stores, large-format retail outlets, multi-brand stores, and leading e-commerce platforms.
As part of the launch offers, buyers can purchase a one-year extended warranty for the Alienware 16X Aurora for Rs. 999, while the Area-51 models are eligible for a one-year extended warranty priced at Rs. 7,999. Dell is also offering an Alienware gaming headset worth Rs. 8,599 for Rs. 2,999 with eligible purchases, alongside zero down payment financing, cashback offers from selected banks, and No Cost EMI options.
The Alienware 16X Aurora, Alienware 16 Area-51, and Alienware 18 Area-51 are now available in India through Dell’s official sales channels, with prices starting at Rs. 2,62,990.
