The Dell 14S is a budget-friendly laptop for students and everyday users, positioned below the premium XPS 13. It weighs 1.15 kg, is 13.5 mm thick, and has an aluminium body available in Linen, Dusty Rose, Washed Denim, and Velvet Green.
It runs on Intel Core 5 and Core 7 Series 3 processors and is claimed to offer up to 21 hours of Netflix streaming from its high-density 750ED PNCM battery, which is designed to run cooler. Display options include a 2.8K 120Hz panel or a 2K 60Hz panel, with the latter offering better battery efficiency.
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E, two USB-C ports with power delivery, HDMI, and a 3.5mm audio jack. There is also an FHD webcam with Windows Hello facial recognition. The Dell 14S will launch in North America this autumn, with regional pricing to be announced closer to launch.
Alienware AW3226Q and AW2527HX Bring 4K and 560Hz OLED Gaming
The Alienware 32 4K OLED (AW3226Q) features a flat 32-inch OLED panel with a 3840×2160 resolution. It uses RGB stripe tandem OLED technology, which stacks emissive layers to improve brightness and reduce text fringing. The monitor has a 165Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms grey-to-grey response time, and up to 1,000 nits peak HDR brightness.
Its full-bandwidth HDMI 2.1 FRL ports support 4K at 165Hz on compatible PCs and modern consoles. It also supports Dolby Vision, DisplayHDR True Black 400, and adaptive sync from Nvidia and AMD. The AW3226Q will launch globally this autumn for US$699.99 (approximately ₹61,600) and comes with a three-year warranty covering OLED burn-in.
The Alienware 25 AW2527HX is designed for competitive FPS players and was developed with esports team Team Liquid to replace older TN panels. It features a 24.5-inch 1080p QD-OLED display with a 560Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms grey-to-grey response time.
DisplayPort 2.1 UHBR13.5 provides enough bandwidth to avoid Display Stream Compression (DSC), while the panel reaches 1,500 nits peak brightness and carries DisplayHDR True Black 600 certification. It also has a matte anti-glare coating, an esports-focused stand, a built-in headset hanger, and a button for quickly switching to 4:3 or 3:2 aspect ratios. The AW2527HX is expected to launch in early Q1 2027, with pricing to be announced closer to release.
