Lenovo has expanded its laptop lineup in India with the launch of new Yoga and IdeaPad models, strengthening its push in the AI PC segment. The refreshed portfolio includes devices across the Yoga Slim 7, Yoga 7 2-in-1, and IdeaPad 5 2-in-1 series, and spans Intel, AMD, and Snapdragon platforms.
The company is positioning the lineup as a mix of premium design, portability, and AI-enhanced performance. Lenovo also claims it is among the first brands to bring laptops powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors to India, alongside systems based on AMD Ryzen AI 400 series and Snapdragon X2 chips.
AI Takes Center Stage
The latest Yoga and IdeaPad models reflect Lenovo's growing focus on AI-assisted computing. Rather than centering only on raw specifications, the company is emphasizing features that support day-to-day productivity, content creation, and media consumption.
The launch also underscores a broader shift in the laptop market, where slim design, battery life, and flexible form factors are becoming increasingly important for hybrid work and mobile usage.
Yoga Slim 7 Series
At the premium end of the lineup is the Yoga Slim 7 series, aimed at users looking for a balance of portability and performance.
The Yoga Slim 7i Ultra Aura Edition features a 975g metal alloy body and is powered by up to Intel Core Ultra X9 processors. It also includes Lenovo AI Core and a PureSight Pro POLED display.
Lenovo has also introduced a FIFA Edition variant of the model, adding a lifestyle-oriented option to the premium range.
The Yoga Slim 7x is powered by the Snapdragon X2 Elite processor and is designed for long battery life, with Lenovo claiming up to 31 hours on a single charge. The device also comes with a 9MP IR camera, Dolby Atmos speakers, and an OLED display.
Yoga 7 2-in-1 Series
The Yoga 7 2-in-1 series is built around flexibility, thanks to its 360-degree hinge that allows it to be used in laptop, tablet, tent, and stand modes.
The series is available in both Intel and AMD configurations and offers OLED displays, a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision support, and a 70Wh battery. It also supports the Lenovo Yoga Pen Gen 2, making it suitable for note-taking and creative work.
On the Intel side, Lenovo is offering Aura Edition features such as Smart Share, Smart Modes, and Smart Care. The AMD variants are aimed at AI-powered performance for creative workloads.
IdeaPad 5 2-in-1
The IdeaPad 5 2-in-1 is positioned as the more affordable option in the lineup, targeting students and hybrid users.
It also features a 360-degree design and is powered by Intel Core Ultra Gen 3 processors. The laptop includes Smart Note 3.0, Wi-Fi 7, Dolby Audio, and a 60Wh battery, with Lenovo focusing on a balanced mix of performance and everyday usability.
