Lenovo has launched the ThinkBook 14x in India, a premium ultralight laptop aimed at professionals and students looking for a portable machine for hybrid work and everyday productivity. The laptop weighs under 990 grams and is just 12.9mm thick, while offering Intel Core Ultra processors, AI capabilities and a choice of display and storage configurations.
Lenovo ThinkBook 14x Specifications and Features
The ThinkBook 14x features a 14-inch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The top configuration gets a 2.8K OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 500 nits peak brightness and 100% DCI-P3/sRGB colour gamut coverage. Lenovo has also included Eyesafe Certified 2.0 blue-light protection.
The laptop is positioned as a Copilot+ PC powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors, with the lineup offering Core Ultra 5 226V and Core Ultra 7 256V options. The specification matrix includes LED and OLED display options depending on the configuration. Storage starts at 512GB, while the top variant gets 1TB storage. All configurations come with 16GB memory, while battery capacities range from 54.7Wh to 65Wh.
Lenovo has equipped the ThinkBook 14x with a backlit keyboard, widened glass touchpad and Lenovo Smart Connect for multi-device integration. The laptop also includes Wi-Fi 6E and a selection of ports, including two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports with always-on charging and a full-size HDMI port. The laptop also features dual SSD slots, allowing users to expand storage as required.
The company has also added smarter sensor-based features, including automatic keyboard lighting adjustment and screen blurring when someone attempts to look over the user's shoulder.
Despite its lightweight design, the ThinkBook 14x has been tested against MIL-STD-810H durability standards. Lenovo says the laptop is designed to handle the demands of everyday travel while maintaining portability. The laptop runs Windows 11 Pro and offers an all-day battery, according to Lenovo. The top configuration gets a 65Wh battery, while the other listed configurations feature a 54.7Wh battery.
Lenovo ThinkBook 14x Price and Availability in India
The Lenovo ThinkBook 14x starts at Rs 1,08,990 in India. It is available through Lenovo.com, with Custom-to-Order options allowing customers to configure specifications before purchase. Lenovo has also announced a limited-period launch offer.
The ThinkBook 14x is clearly aimed at buyers who prioritise portability without moving down to entry-level hardware. Its sub-990g aluminium body is the biggest highlight, while the Core Ultra processors, multiple ports, dual SSD slots and up to a 2.8K 120Hz OLED display make it a more complete work machine than an ultra-light laptop focused purely on mobility. At Rs 1,08,990, it sits firmly in the premium laptop segment, but the CTO approach gives professionals and students more flexibility to choose the configuration that fits their workload.
